Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos (AFD) was founded in 2010 under Spanish influence and is one of the most modern distilleries in Latin America. The AFD generates all the energy it needs by using biofuel obtained from bagasse. The sugar cane for production comes from the company’s own estates and partner fields – from a total of 80,000 ha of land.
